Humidity and Temperature Testing
We have two models for Humidity and Dewpoint measurement, and one Digital Thermometer, to complete tests prior to the application of coatings.

RH%-Dewpoint Meter Whirling Hygrometer Digital Thermometer

picture of dewpoint meterRh% Dewpoint Meter

The RH%-Dewpoint Meter allows the determination of the relative humidity, dew point and air temperature before the application of a coating

Specifications usually detail that the relative humidity and the dew point temperature must be strictly adhered to as well as monitoring the surface temperature.

Range and accuracy: RH 0-100% ±2%, Temperature –40°C to +85°C ±1%.

Conforms to BS, ISO, DIN, ASTM and SSPC methods of measurement,

Calibration Certificates having traceability to UKAS are available.

Supplied in a Carrying Case with Battery fitted.

Alternative equipment for determining the relative humidity and Dewpoint are the Whirling Hygrometer and Dewpoint Calculator.

For the Industrial Painter the Steel substrate temperature can be measured using either the Infra Red Thermometer or the Magnetic Thermometer.

Part Number
H2005 - RH%-Dewpoint Meter

Accessories
NH001 - H2005 Calibration Certificate UKAS traceable

Whirling Hygrometer

picture whirling hygrometerThe Whirling Hygrometer uses a well proven and established test method for finding the temperature and moisture content of the air prior to painting

Not sensitive to dust / solvent contaminants.

BS2842 Mercury Thermometers supplied as standard.

Red spirit Thermometers can be supplied if required.

Thermometer scale length = 100mm
Scale division = 0.5 °C
Accuracy +-2%.

Supplied in a carrying case.

When used with Universal Dew Point Calculator will allow RH% Dewpoint to be quickly calculated.

Part Number
H1001 - BS Whirling Hygrometer

Accessories
NH002 - Calibration Certificate UKAS traceable

Digital Thermometer

digital thermometerThe Digital Thermometer is a pocket sized type K thermometer supplied with fitted surface contact thermocouple which will measure air and surface temperatures quickly and easily.

The probe is conveniently hinged and folds back into the side of the casing when not in use.

Measurement range -50°C to +300°C.

Accuracy ±1% ±1 digit.

Part Numbers
T2003 - Digital Thermometer
NT003 - Calibration Certificate UKAS traceable.
